14. Moral values of Qur’an Part 4

* THINGS COMMANDED BY ALLAH:

“Say (O Muhammad (pbuh)): Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from:
1) Join not anything in worship with Him;
2) Be good and dutiful to your parents;
3) Kill not your children because of poverty – We provide sustenance for you and for them;
4) Come not near to Al-Fawahish (shameful sins) whether committed openly or secretly;
5) Kill not anyone whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause;
This he has commanded you that you may understand.
6) And come not near to the orphan’s property, except to improve it, until he (or she) attains the age of full strength;
7) And give full measure and full weight with justice.
We burden not any person, but that which he can bear.
8)And whenever you give your word (i.e. judge between men or give evidence), say the truth even if a near relative is concerned, and fulfill the Covenant of Allah.
This He commands you that you may remember.
The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 6, Verses 151-152

* WHO ARE BELIEVERS?

“The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur’an) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone);” The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 8, Verse 2

“(The believers whose lives Allah has purchases are)
1) Those who turn to Allah in repentance (from polytheism and hypocrisy)
2) Who worship (Him)
3) Who praise (Him)
4) Who bow down (in prayer)
5) Who prostrate themselves (in prayer)
6) Who enjoin (on people) Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic monotheism and all what Islam has ordained)
7) And forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism of all kinds and all that Islam has forbidden)
8) And who observe the limits set by Allah (Do all that Allah has ordained and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which Allah has forbidden).
And give glad tidings to the believers.”
The Holy Qur'an, Chapter 9, Verse 112
