Worship God

The act of worship predisposes us to sensitivity to the Spirit and the things of God. Whether as an individual or a group when we worship we draw close to God and as such find the dimension of the Spirit flowing over us. It is in such an atmosphere that the prophetic, the anointing of revelation, the ability to see in the Spirit begin to manifest in the life of believers and those of prophetic persuasion. In essence everything to do with praise, worship and the prophetic has to do with atmosphere. Music is a powerful Spiritual force, it can take us places, open us up to things, incite us to action, cause us to reflect, change your mood. The prophetic nature of music can release an anointing of varying dimensions in the House of God. It can release a prophetic flow amongst God's people, it can impart an
anointing of
prayer, worship, celebration, faith, revelation, authority. God inhabits His praise. Psalm22:3.>"But You are Holy, Enthroned on the praises of Israel." God comes when we draw near to Him. The God who is omniscient begins to impart to us insight, knowledge, revelation, guidance, direction, and emphasis. God wants to speak into our world and when we create an atmosphere that has certain components but not limited to such, as one cannot box God in, then the prophetic is released in the church. When we worship with an attitude of openness, receptivity, humility, surrender, Spiritual thirst or hunger and repentance, God will speak into us individually or corporately. 2Kings3:14-15. And Elisha said ''As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat King of Judah, I would
not look at you, or see you. 15.''But now bring me a musician." Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.< We can set an atmosphere for the prophetic deliberately to hear from God. This does not mean that God is obliged to move in this manner because we do so, it just means we are doing what we can to establish an environment that is conducive for the Spirit of God to move on us in this manner should He so choose. Worship releases the prophetic and with it the authority attached to that anointing to execute God's will on given situations. ~~~~~~~ 1.Deliverance from
[David and Saul]
1Sam.16:14-23 2.Dedication to Temple [Solomon] 2Chr.5:11-14 3.Bringing down strongholds [Jericho]
Josh.6:1-11 4.Victory over invaders [Jehoshaphat] 2Chr.20:14-23 5.Executing authority over our enemies [Saints] Psalm149.
[Acts15:16-17] After these things I will return and "will build again the tabernacle of David which has fallen, and I will build again the things which have been demolished, and I will set it up, so as the rest of men may seek the Lord, even all the nations on whom My name has been called, says the Lord, who is doing all these things.< The significant difference with David's tent that housed the Ark of the Covenant and the official Tabernacle was that it had continuous praise, worship and music 24/7. It had an atmosphere that released the prophetic flow over the nation and was epitomized in David who was seen in the likeness of Christ in his role as Prophet, Priest and King. We see in the Psalms the
array of prophetic declaration through the many contributors of this book; from David, the sons of Korah, Asaph, Ethan and Moses. Some songs have an apostolic/ prophetic touch on them in that they break open areas and establish the purpose and or truth of God in what has been closed to the impact of God before, whether a local church or an individual's heart. Some have a prophetic touch that brings revelation, direction and adjustment to lives, some have both anointings and giftings
on them
and accomplish significant transformation, or position the heart of the church for the shift God wants to bring. We are constantly encouraged to sing a new song to the Lord in the Psalms, the reason being God is constantly wanting to breathe into us new life, give us expression to the faith we possess, change the Spiritual atmosphere and
climate, and bring fresh revelation to position us for greater success for the Kingdom. [Psalms33:3; 40:3;] [96:1-13; 98:1-9;] [Psalm149]
