Smoking Kills

As I puff out another cloud of smoke, I
began to realize that emotions are
nothing but smoke in the air.
Initially, the cloud is thick and
heavy. In a few seconds, it dissipates
into the air. But it's not totally
gone, it's components are still there.
It becomes part of the bigger mass of
air. Same with emotions. Being hurt,
in despair, or undergoing trials. It'll
all pass, in time. Once they're all
gone, they'll become part of an
experience. An experience we can look
back and ponder upon. And we learn
from it.

But then again part of learning is
knowing that smoking it bad for you!
Allowing that smoke to stay inside
your system is a hazard. Allowing your
emotions to control all your senses
endangers your whole being. It's time
to quit ... and to learn. Smoking

Then I shall quit.
