An urge to sacrifice for motherland.

The army, navy and air force, are the three wings of our armed forces that function tirelessly to defend our country’s sovereignty and borders. The armed forces render invaluable service both at times of war and peace. They protect the of the country’s defense from attack from other nations, or facilitating the civilian forces to maintain law and order or organizing relief work. In times of natural calamities, the armed forces always act swiftly to save lives and property. The work in the armed forces involves a plethora of disciplines, such as engineering, and medical sciences, electronics, in addition to combat expertise acquired.
The Army
The army is trained for war, mostly on land. It is a large unit organized for independent action, or the nation’s complete military organization for land warfare. The army consists of infantry soldiers, or mounted warriors, or men in specialized tanks and handling sophisticated weapons and communication devices.
The Navy
A country’s warships and fighting craft, with the personnel that operate them, are known as navy. The Nay personnel man the warships and aircraft and helicopters of the Navy. The navy is the forces working on the nation’s warships for fighting on, under, or over the sea. Modern navy has a collection of aircraft carriers, frigates, cruisers, destroyers, submarines, minelayers, minesweepers and gunboats etc. The support to these ships consists of supply, and repair ships, naval bases and ports. The administration and maintenance of the warships is looked after by the other wing of navy. The navy ensures sea control and sea denial around the country’s shores.
The Air Force
The Air Force is the military organization which is responsible for the conduct of air warfare. The air force‘s responsibility is control of the air, supporting surface forces by bombing and accomplishing strategic-bombing objectives. The weapons of an air force are such military airplanes as fighters, fighter-bombers, attack aircraft, bombers, and training craft and reconnaissance craft.
Career opportunities exist in all levels in the three divisions of the armed forces. Graduates can make an entry as officers and others as cadets. The engineering and computer experts to doctors and nurses and administration, accounts and supporting staff also form the major junk of careers in the armed forces. They get salaries and perks with other incentives like educational and medical facilities for self and family.
